When I was 19, I worked in guest services at a local mall in my college town to earn some extra money on the side. Next door was a candy shop I went to frequently to use my 20% employee discount off Icees. I loved those tasty sugar bombs!
It's been years since I had my last Icee but there's no need for one when I have my blender and a bag of frozen fruit and berries. Making it at home, I can add any fruits or berries I want with no added sugars. They're also loaded with natural fibers and vitamins so it's quite a win.
Sometimes I have a huge craving for something extra tart and this raspberry lime slushie does the trick!
