Parmesan Crisps

A good way to use up leftover parmesan cheese is to make crisps! They're crunchy and cheesy and goes well with salads, pasta, and soup or as a snack dipped in marinara sauce.

Cooking Tip
  • ​Choice of Seasoning: Although I used Italian seasoning with this recipe, you can substitute any seasoning to your liking! In the past, I've enjoyed them with garlic powder and freshly ground pepper, Trader Joe's Everything But the Bagel, and cayenne powder.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
Ingredients
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat.
  3. Divide the parmesan cheese into 6 mounds, leaving about an inch of space between each mound.
  4. Pat down each mound until they are mostly flat. You can have some fun and mold it into other shapes (for example: hearts).
  5. Evenly divide and sprinkle the Italian season over each mound.
  6. Once oven reaches 400 degrees F, put the baking sheet into the oven and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the crisps are golden brown and can hold its shape.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
